Majoring in Economics and Finance as well as Chinese Economy and Trade, I have started my ultimate year at Hanyang University in 2015. Upon completing CFA level 1 courses in 2014, I was able to work as an intern at FnGuide and Standard Chartered Bank Korea.
I have intensively enhanced my writing and verbal ability of English since the sophomore year of my high school by moving to Malaysia and attending Dalat Int’l School in Penang. My knowledge in finance and accounting is comprised by completing financial courses at school and CFA studies. I am sure that I have qualifications to contribute to the Procter & Gamble co. Korea.
As a person with more productivity when working together, I have taken part in a number of different extra activities that allow me to interact with students from different schools and environment. Amongst them was the international investment club where I took a responsible position as the president of the club from the infant stage. I, along with a help of my mentor from a securities firm, arranged meetings to organize how to publicize the club and mainly to gain a broader view by studying English and foreign economic markets. Analyzing a foreign firm being one of the activities, I have once created a report on P&G.
As the US economy began to show a gradual recovery ever since the Subprime mortgage crisis in 2008, I predicted that the revitalized US domestic consumption market would lead the way to the global economic turnaround. Therefore, I concluded that P&G, the consumer goods producer that operates in all around the globe, would become one of the greatest beneficiaries.
Apart from extra activities, I have gone through two different internships since 2014. During my internship at SC Bank, I supported Trading, Sales, and Research team in the dealing room and also assisted in works related to the annual audit in December. Further, I collected the foreign exchange information of a country or a firm using Bloomberg Terminal and DART, and sometimes translated reports/termsheets written from the SC Bank headquarter. While at FnGuide, I assisted in providing monthly reports on an overall financial market in Korea and calculated annualized daily returns of pension funds such as teacher’s pension and national property pension. Seven months of internship had given me opportunities to understand financial instruments including FX, stock, bond, and fund. I believe enriching my financial knowledge by aiming for the CFA charter has played a useful role, therefore, I’m studying lv.2 these days and eventually targeting the lv.3 and the charter in three years.

I firmly believe that I will be a good fit in the F&A department where I can make strong contribution and commitment as an intern as well as to the growth of myself to become a specialized financial leader at one of the manufacturing operations.
Just like products of P&G help us taking care of ourselves from head to toe, I would like to become a member of F&A department and take care of money inside P&G from inflow to outflow.
