Responsibilities
. Understand CE, SEMI, and other industry Safety standards and certification and manage the
compliance of the equipment with relevant specifications and guidelines.
. Support and troubleshoot existing systems in production
. Strategy and policy: Develop policies and objectives for the assigned unit and contribute to the
development of the strategy on a level higher
. Organization development: Evaluate organizational design, processes and systems and initiate
and implement changes and improvements
. Legislation management: Ensure the site adheres to all local legislation and meets company
standards.
. Specify all machine electrical / safety scope of works for internal and contracted vendor resources
. Perform Machine Safety Risk Assessments per industrial standards
. Standardize system level, equipment safety, applied to all in-house new equipment
. Specify components and suppliers
. Support for system validation and installation
. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
. Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, or other applicable field of
study
. 5+ years’ experience as a safety engineer with semiconductor industry. (Experiences with the
semiconductor or display equipment supplier are highly preferred)
. Good written and spoken English
