Responsibilities
□ Engineering works
· Responsible for overall site facility chemical infrastructure and owns final results associated with decisions that affect it
· Core areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):
Ø Specialty gas, bulk gas and liquid chemical distribution systems
Ø Gas & Chemical Act. review and permit proceeding
Ø CRF(chemical request form) and MOC(management of change) review/managing
Ø Ultra Pure Water (UPW) and integrity of supply quality
· Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on capacity of all core responsible areas beginning from main distribution down to point of connection (POC)
· Ability to work off hours and/or weekends if needed to support project deliverables on time while ensuring highest quality standards.
· Identify infrastructure improvements which drive operating costs down, and/or support a more robust chemical system integrity enhancing business uptime.
· Generates/updates Standard Operating Procedures for process systems and trains Operation technicians.
· Generates/updates Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Sequence of Operations for process systems.
· Support Chemical Request Form/Chemical Information Management System review and approval process.
· Responsible for monitoring and reporting quality of high purity gas using outsourced analytical lab testing.
· Participates in review/approval of Site Incident Prevention Program requests, especially for those involving process gas systems.
□ O&M (Operation & Maintenance) works
· Bulk gas supply management and facility O&M
· Specialty gas supply management and facility O&M (gas cabinet, VMB/P)
· Bulk specialty gas supply management and facility O&M (BSGS)
· Precursor (liquid & solid chemical) supply management and facility O&M (LDC, OVC)
· A person who can be appointed as a safety manager of a high-pressure gas storage facility (a gas technician or higher qualification or a person who has completed general facility safety manager training)
· A person who can appoint a safety manager for hazardous materials storage facilities & a safety manager for hazardous chemicals. (Optional)
· Fulfillment of legal responsibilities according to the appointment of a gas storage and supply facility safety manager
· Daily inspection, cylinder order and replacement, gas charging management, gas evacuation management, line break procedure, tool installation project support, cycle purge, etc.
· Scheduled to work in 4 sets of 3 shifts or 3 sets of 2 shifts (currently swing shift)
Qualifications
· BS (4 years) in Gas & Chemical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of gas & chemical design/operation/project experience (Professional Gas & Chemical engineering license is essential.)
· Or College degree (2 years) in Gas & Chemical engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of gas & chemical design/operation/project experience (Professional Gas & Chemical engineering license is essential.)
· 2 years of experience in semiconductor industry(optional)
· Must possess advanced troubleshooting skills which support core responsibilities.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to interact with internal customers efficiently.
· Intermediate English communication skill
