Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

·        Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Time Series Analysis etc.

·        Skill full at processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

·        Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

·        Experience with common data science libraries, such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, Tensor Flow,  etc (excellence in at least two of these is highly desirable)

·        Experience with data visualization tools, such as tableau,matplotlib,plotly,D3.js etc

·       Platform Experience preferred Azure & AWS.

Good-to-Have

·        Experience working on Energy Systems & Energy Data

·        Experience with Agile/SAFe required

·        Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Elastic Search

·        Experience with python web frameworks such as Django or Flask etc

·       IoT domain or Energy Domain

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

·        Taking responsibility of implementing analytical solutions from scratch including Development, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance. 

·        Working in a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, UI Developers, Backend Developers and Business/Functional Owners to build and implement analytical solutions

. 

·        Using a variety of techniques including (but not restricted to) numerical regression analysis, time series forecasting, nearest neighbor classification and mathematical optimizations to solve Client's problem statement. 

·       Enthusiastic to experiment new techniques, libraries and tools to update current process or tools.
